The First Appointment
Each one of our patients meets with our experienced team and Dr. Ajmo for a consultation before they undergo treatment. A series of digital photographs are taken of your face, teeth, and smile to assess your existing condition. You and he will spend your initial appointment discussing your dental needs and personal requests to ensure that you receive the treatment that’s best for you. After taking a complete series of digital x-rays, Dr. Ajmo will thoroughly examine your teeth and smile to create a cosmetic treatment plan customized to suit your specific needs and wants. A diagnostic cosmetic wax-up will be created so Dr. Ajmo can predictably design how your teeth and new smile will look.
Tooth Preparation Visit
During your next appointment, you’ll be kept comfortable with local anesthetic and possibly a mild sedative if necessary. The surface of the tooth will be cleaned and gently shaped to prepare the teeth for your new veneers. A mold of your teeth will be made and temporary veneers will be put in place. The temporary veneers are designed to look just like your permanent veneers, so you have a few days to “try on your veneers” making certain you like what your permanent veneers will look like. Several days later, you’ll meet with Dr. Ajmo and our team to review the temporary results. If necessary, minor changes can be made, precisely verifying proper length, color, alignment, and overall cosmetic results are achieved. Photos and measurements of your temporaries are then sent to our premium ceramic laboratories in Palm Beach County. Once your porcelain veneers are returned to our Palm Beach Gardens office, we will invite you back for your final appointment.

Dr. Ajmo will then review your case directly with our porcelain veneer lab. A talented ceramist will handcraft the porcelain veneers from durable life-like ceramics that look and function like natural dentition. Attention to detail occurs at every stage of the process ensuring that you’ll receive the finest porcelain veneers for the smile of your dreams, complementing your overall appearance making you look younger and healthier.
Permanent Veneer Placement
Local anesthetic may be administered to ensure your complete comfort during veneer placement. If necessary, a mild sedative may also be used to keep you relaxed. Dr. Ajmo will remove the temporary veneers and verify the fit and aesthetic detail of your permanent veneers. Dr. Ajmo will then permanently bond the new veneers to the front surface of your teeth. A small light will cure the bonded cements, firmly adhering the veneers in place. Dr. Ajmo will make sure that the veneers allow room for adequate flossing, that your bite is properly adjusted, and your smile looks great.
