  • Face shape - The shape of the face affects the shape of the teeth. Longer teeth on a round face will have a slimming effect. Wider teeth on a slender face will broaden the face to achieve a fuller look.
     
  • Skin tone - Individuals with fair skin tones can often use much brighter colors. Individuals with darker skin tones may need less brightness to appear more natural.
     
  • Age - More youthful individuals can have very bright smiles. Teeth are generally darker with age.
