For Your Safety

In order to alleviate any anxiety you may have regarding your dental visits, we would like to familiarize you with our office procedures. We follow and exceed all guidelines required by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) for disinfection and sterilization of all instruments in the clinical setting in which you are treated. A charcoal water purification system is utilized to disinfect all incoming dental water lines. All used water is eliminated through a separate evacuation system to avoid any cross contamination of our water supply. In addition:

• All clinical staff members use gloves, masks, and safety glasses during treatment.
• Treatment rooms are completely disinfected between patients.
• All instruments are scrubbed, disinfected and COMPLETELY STERILIZED IN SAFETY SEALED, DISPOSABLE BAGS BY AUTOCLAVE at 270 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 minutes after each use. All materials that cannot be sterilized are disposable and used only once.
• All hand pieces are HEAT STERILIZED for each patient and all hygiene prophy-polishing angles are disposable and only used once.
• Charcoal water filters are replaced on a regular basis to ensure all of our incoming water and dental equipment lines remain disinfected.
• All used water is eliminated through a separate evacuation system to avoid any cross contamination of our water supply.
• All suction tips as well as water-dispensing tips are disposable and only used once.
